Dr. Karp is a 1994 graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic located in St. Louis, MO with a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and a Doctorate of Chiropractic. He was a dual major in biology and chemistry as an undergraduate at Towson University in Towson, MD.
Dr. Karp is from Cherry Hill, NJ and is a lifelong resident of the Philadelphia region. He has a passion for helping people improve their health and overcome injuries and disease with his chiropractic services. At the age of 13, his mom brought him to her chiropractor following a football injury in high school. This inspired his dream of becoming a chiropractor with a focus on comprehensive wellness, pain management, and active rehabilitation. He strongly believes in giving back to his community and has a proud record of performing volunteer work as a Rotarian to make the world a better place.
Dr. Karp was a state-appointed and elected member of The Pennsylvania State Board of Chiropractic Licensure from 2008-2012 and is certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. Most recently he was an active board member of the Police Athletic League (PAL) in Wilmington, DE. In addition, he is the past president of The Rotary Club of West Chester (2009-2010). Most Sundays you will find him rooting for his beloved Eagles.
Aaron Ortman, Office Manager is Dr. Karp’s son! He helps out with a little bit of everything including a lot of the insurance/billing tasks. He enjoys spending his free time hiking, riding my bike, or playing music.
He graduated in 2020 with a bachelor’s in Neuroscience and is planning on furthering his education within the field because he think brains are really cool. A message from Aaron, “I appreciate being able to work with Dr. Karp and Dr. Hanson in helping our patients get back on their feet and out of pain.”
Mackie M is 22 years old and from Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania. She currently lives in West Chester where she is studying at West Chester University for her Master’s in General Psychology.
In her free time she really enjoys traveling to new places or staying home with her 3 dogs. She is also a huge Harry Styles fan and traveled to 4 of his shows in 2021. She is looking forward to continuing to get to know our current patients as well as meeting new ones and helping them in any way she can!
Brya G. graduated from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania with her bachelor’s degree in exercise science. In her free time, she goes to the gym, spends time with family, reads & she always finds ways to give back to her community.
She chose the chiropractic field because she enjoys helping patients take the necessary steps to recovery and seeing them get back to living their best lives.
